Arun Rajagopal grew up in the Dallas area and moved to Utah in 2003. His wife’s family hails from Utah and he has extensive family connections here. Prior to his arrival in Utah, Dr. Rajagopal was Assistant Professor and director of the Pain Management fellowship program at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Rajagopal graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His post-graduate training included an internship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, followed by a 3-year residency in Anesthesiology and 1-year Pain Management Fellowship at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is board-certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
